How to sign up and create an account

A step-by-step guide to getting started with InstantVAT.

Getting started with InstantVAT is quick and straightforward. Follow this guide to sign up and create your account, so you can begin enjoying faster VAT refunds and improved cash flow.

1. Visit our website

Open your web browser and go to the homepage.

2. Click on "Start now"

On the homepage, locate the “Start now” button, typically found at the top right corner of the page. Click on it to start the registration process.

3. Choose how you want to create your account

There are many different ways you can create your account, you can choose to link it to your QuickBooks or Xero account, or create it directly from your HMRC account. Choose whichever option suits your needs the best.

4. Connect your business HMRC account

Once you've created an account, you'll be guided through the process to link your HMRC account. This involves entering your HMRC login details and then confirming it's you by entering your 2FA device code.

5. Read and agree to the Terms and Conditions

Read through the Terms and Conditions of InstantVAT. Check the box to indicate that you agree to the terms, and then click “Continue”.

6. Set up completed

That's it! All that's left to do is make sure you tell us which bank account you want to receive your InstantVAT refund in and we'll do the rest.
